| 1) | Reduce and eradicate discrimination, injustice or abuse committed as a cause of sexual orientation or sexual identity. | 
| 2) | Make visible and establish a public and private debate about the reality of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual people (LGBT). | 
| 3) | Generate actions and politic, cultural, social, economic or legal alliances tending towards the value and respect of the right to sexual diversity. | 
| 4) | Suggest and execute action tending towards improving the quality of life for the LGBT population. | 
| 5) | Promote the self representation and the autonomy of the LGBT population. | 
| Purposes | |
| a) | Psychological and legal consulting for lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transsexuals affected by discriminating conducts because or their sexual orientation, their gender identity and/or derived from absolutist conceptions of sexuality and human rights. | 
| b) | Analyze, explain and issue the different forms of discrimination suffered from the sexual minorities using investigations, campaigns, surveys, interviews and execution and/or participation at seminars, discussions, events and expositions. | 
| c) | Enhance the relations between unorganized and organized sexual minorities and between all these as well as with the population spreading messages in public and/or private spheres. | 
| d) | Appropriately and responsibly report and solve any discriminating conducts against the human rights of sexual minorities. | 
| e) | Develop and coordinate programs to enhance the quality of life for the sexual minorities in the areas of work, education and health. | 
| f) | Work for the abolition and modification of all the norms that legitimize discrimination and suggest legal indications for the equality of rights for every human being. | 
| g) | Serve as a representative and/or establish alliances with judicial, legislative, governmental, law enforcement, artistic, scientific, medial and social entities, both on a national and an international level. | 
| h) | Create alliances of minorities or vulnerable groups and promote united struggles against the discrimination. |
