As\u00ed lo anunci\u00f3 el Instituto Nacional de Alergiolog\u00eda y Enfermedades Infecciosas de Boston al explicar que el virus inofensivo, denominado GBV-C podr\u00eda bloquear algunas de las puertas celulares usadas por el VIH\/SIDA para expandirse.<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"color: black;\">La informaci\u00f3n, hecha p\u00fablica en el marco de X Conferencia Anual sobre Retrovirus e Infecciones Oportunistas celebrada esta semana en Boston, se basa en estudios que han demostrado que las personas con GBV-C tienen 2.5 veces m\u00e1s posibilidades de sobrevivir. Los expertos aclararon, sin embargo, que las reales incidencias del GBV-C a\u00fan son desconocidas, requiri\u00e9ndose a\u00fan muchos estudios.<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"color: black;\">El GBV-C fue descubierto en 1995 y en un comienzo fue llamado hepatitis G.
